Tongue

I am for peace but they are for war. This is from Psalm 120.

Powerful words written and speaks loudly in the time we live in.

When I first read this I was in awe. The words is strong and we live in this at this moment.

Persecution is so strong among many and many do not realize they are slaying truth. This is bringing a division that is so strong I do not think we really understand what we are doing.

When the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ leads us we are lead into a war zone at many times. The Holy Spirit is powerful and it is true and many cannot handle the truth. The truth offends and brings out a Spirit in many that is living in flesh.

Our flesh is our weakness to ever lasting life. We never realize until we have become part of the problem and not realizing we are persecuting those that speaks truth. A truth that cuts the flesh and if we live in flesh we will reject the truth.

God is love and his love is everything to us. If we say we love God we should be able to endure truth because when we hear truth we learn to accept and transform this truth to our lives.

The narrow path is not easy and many do not want to take this path. When taken we find life in Spirit and our flesh would not over take us.

So when King David said I am for peace but they are for war. He could be saying our hearts and soul wants peace but our flesh wants no part of this at all.

When we reject what our inner self wants we tend to go by what our flesh wants. Then we join others in following fleshly desires and unknowingly persecute those who are trying to live by Spirit and Truth.

Think about it. Then answer this one.

What side will you be joining?
