Recently, I have become a little obsessed with decluttering. I have began decluttering a lot and for some reason I have not really stopped. What I have realized this is going to be a ongoing journey , I plan to take 20 to 30 minutes a day decluttering a lot. So far it has been great a challenge by getting stuff out. The emotional attachment to things is unhealthy. I never realize how attached I am to simple things like a old pair of jeans, or sun glasses I have not wore in a year.
Which has helped me reach this phase, simplifying. I really want to simplify a lot in my life. It is so tiring dealing with a lot of things and just having less is a lot less of a headache. Do not get me wrong I love and appreciate everything I have but what I realize is the more I have the more stuff I get cluttered and the more responsibility.
More clothes leads to more things not being used or having to consider getting more space for more clothes. More make up means more time applying make up and more items on the whole leads to more and more. What I have started doing is not following trends on clothes, or just having one of a item not two mascaras, three different sets of make up sets or two or three eye liners.
This has helped me in tremendous ways, I have been feeling a lot lighter and old weight is shedding off. My decluttering journey has now began and I have seen tremendous changes already. I can think clearer and be able to have a little more space.
It is a task I plan to challenge myself with every day to see how much I can actually set aside and evaluate my usage of items.
Will keep you posted on this adventure, so look out for more.
